01. Where are you located?

I work from a private therapy room in Birkby, Huddersfield, UK. The full address and directions are provided once an initial session is booked.

I also offer online sessions via secure video for clients across the UK.

02. How much do sessions cost?

Individual therapy: £60 per 50-minute session

Concession spaces: Limited availability at £30 and £10

Sessions are payable by bank transfer prior to the appointment.

03. How often do sessions take place?

Most clients attend weekly sessions. This creates consistency and allows the work to deepen.

In some circumstances, fortnightly sessions can be discussed.

04. Is there parking available?

Yes. There is free on-street parking

05. Is the therapy room accessible?

The therapy room is on a ground floor, although the room is not accessible for wheelchairs at this time.

06. How do I book an initial session?

I offer a brief 20-minute phone call to explore what you are looking for and to see if we feel like a good fit.

07. What happens in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to:

  • Explore what brings you to therapy
  • Discuss your history and current challenges
  • Clarify what you are hoping for
  • Decide together whether to continue

There is no obligation to commit beyond the first session.

08. What is your cancellation policy?

I require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.

09. Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed is confidential, with the following exceptions:

  • Risk of serious harm to yourself or others
  • Legal requirements
  • Professional supervision (where your identity is anonymised)

I will always aim to discuss any breach of confidentiality with you where possible.

10. Are you insured and registered?

I hold professional indemnity insurance and adhere to the ethical framework of UKCP.
